Anthem Blue Cross is one of the largest health insurance providers in California, dedicated to delivering better care to their members and improving the health of communities. One of the major tools Anthem uses to connect with members is the Anthem Connects website (www.anthem.com/connects). This website gives the users the ability to review important facts about health, test their own health footprint, and gain access to resources including introductions to associates and doctors, as well as articles for download.

When it was time for the Anthem Connects website to be refreshed with updated content and design, Anthem decided it was also time to create a mobile optimized version of the website.

Partnering with Deutsch, one of the most successful advertising agencies in the United States, Dustland Media was selected to develop the mobile optimized version of Anthem’s Connects website. Dustland was also asked to assist Deutsch’s in-house development team to improve user experience by expanding cross browser compatibility for the updated version of the desktop site.
